I'm back on-line with my new computer and new DSL connection. It was rather simple making the switch (not that I actually made the switch; my very kind, loving husband did that) and it all worked with any discernable problems...yet. We haven't gotten everything transferred yet, but...
I'm on-line!!!
So, I'm in a good mood, sue me!

I'm loving DSL, though I'm still trying to figure out all the idiosyncrasies of this new computer...and make up for the fact that I have no cookies anywhere any more. Small price to pay to watch that, though.

A new computer!!!!!? I hadn't heard that someone from Wisconsin won the lottery. When I win the big bucks at Power Ball is when I'll get a new one. Well, maybe not, my wife just said a new house comes first. Hope your enjoying yours.

No lottery, sorry. I'm going back to school on-line, and my old computer just couldn't handle the software (it was ancient, a good five years old, at least ;-)). It's student loans, not lottery. I actually have to pay for it...eventually.

Yeah, this is a move that's been a long time coming. I'm definitely enjoying it, though after having used it for a while I'm realizing that not all page loads are instantaneous. *sigh*
:-D It's still MUCH better than dial-up and maybe now I'll figure out how to post pictures, sound bytes and videos!
